Then, we had LATKES<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Why do we eat latkes?\u00c2\u00a0 Because they’re cooked in oil, and Hanukkah is partly about one day worth of oil lasting eight nights.\u00c2\u00a0 The oil was needed for eight nights in order to purify the temple.\u00c2\u00a0 This is also why we eat donuts.<\/p>\n
